Santa Monica, Calif., June 29, 2012 — Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has debuted a new website, its first redesign in six years. Now compatible for tablets, the new site aligns with Mandalay Bay's recent "Resortist" campaign: "You're not a tourist, you're a `resortist,'" created by RPA, Mandalay Bay's agency of record. This campaign positions the property as the true resort on the Las Vegas strip by touting the property's extensive range of day-to-night experiences, exceptional customer service and superior setting.

At www.mandalaybay.com, vivid imagery is seen throughout the site and integrates the "Resortist" theme to appeal to guests looking for a world-class resort atmosphere. The intuitive site also houses a new image gallery offering extensive photos and 3-D virtual tours that feature all areas of the hotel. A prominent navigation bar makes booking easier and is positioned as a persistent visible footer throughout the site. A page header with glowing colors easily differentiates THEhotel and Four Seasons, two additional brands within the Mandalay Bay property.

"Our new site expresses the `resortist' experience that Mandalay Bay visitors seek and appreciate," said Robert Hoffmann, Director of Interactive Marketing for Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. "This online destination lets guests immerse themselves in the essence of the Mandalay Bay resort set within the energy and excitement of Las Vegas."

An expanded social media integration encourages visitors to share events from the event-calendar page, which is populated through a CMS tool, as well as view tweets from the live Twitter stream on the home page. In addition, users can opt in for regular text-message updates from Mandalay Bay about deals and specials and connect with the property on Four Square, Facebook and more.

For visitors looking to take advantage of the 11 lush acres of luxurious outdoor space, the beach portion of the site features all the pools and accepts reservations for cabanas.

The dining tab features celebrity chefs and menus as well as recent Yelp reviews. The robust Meetings & Conventions portion presents a "Where Leaders Meet," section showcasing top companies that have chosen to hold meetings at Mandalay Bay, with compelling case studies. A right-side menu allows easy access to necessary documents for before and after booking an event.
