California Department of Public Health

Lost Moments

The California Department of Public Health launched six new anti-tobacco TV spots focusing on the poignant, everyday moments that make up a life. The campaign uses existing YouTube real-life clips to challenge Californians to consider, "Which moments are you willing to give away since every cigarette shortens your life?"

This campaign is designed to be a catalyst for dialogue at a time when many people perceive that the tobacco problem is solved. The spots are a moving reminder that tobacco is still killing one in five Americans and remains the No. 1 cause of preventable death and disease.

The spots aired on prime programming in major California markets and featured during Hulu programming in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
