Santa Monica, Calif., June 26, 2007 — RPA, the largest independent advertising agency on the West Coast, welcomes Claire Browne as V.P., Director of Media Insights, Research and Accountability. Leading this new discipline at RPA, Browne will work to garner salient media insights to effectively optimize each client's media strategy.

Most recently, Browne worked for National Cable Communications in Los Angeles as director of research, where she introduced research department services to seven western regional sales offices in five states as the first member of National Cable Communications Research and Marketing west of Chicago. She introduced National Cable Communications' Fusion® ratings data model to several western agency customers, leading to increased agency billings.
From 1999-2001, Browne was the director of client services at Razorfish, Inc., in Tokyo. As the founding member of Razorfish's start-up joint venture with Intervision, a Sony-owned Japanese advertising firm, she advised management on business strategy and provided training on business practices to all staff. She began her tenure at Razorfish in Los Angeles managing cross-functional project teams and project profitability.
Browne's career also includes several years at CKS Partners in New York where she worked in two different roles—first as an account director for online direct response campaigns and later as director of new business development. Previous to that she held the title of director of research at Sony Worldwide Networks, a division of Sony Inc., in New York and at Banner Radio, a division of Katz Communications Inc. in New York.
