What have you learned from the team you lead?
Listen. Respect them. Titles don't matter, the best ideas win. I can learn a lot from my team, just as they can learn from me. No ego. Remember they are people. Be amotional (without emotion) unless it is a positive one.
What qualities do you look for in an RPA Associate, beyond the usual?
Visionary. Side projects. A bit crazy. Confident. Able to be multi-dimensional.
Talk about a client who’s had an important impact on you.
Alicia Jones, who heads up Acura and Honda social media. She believes in me and I have a personal connection with her. We have a very honest, and transparent relationship, and accomplish more over a casual lunch than a week of phone calls and emails.
What’s on the horizon for you? What do you most look forward to accomplishing?
I'd like to see us build out our capabilities a bit more. We're looking at new forms of capital investments in things like influencer partnerships. I would like to work to make things more efficient, look for our production and social capabilities to be expanded, and to have a renewed emphasis on the day-to-day for social.
