Kids who are stuck in the hospital over the holidays battling illness have a consistent fear – that Santa won’t find them. So while most conventional holiday films show Santa visiting the homes of healthy kids, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) and ad agency RPA are debuting a film that speaks to the sick kids. In partnership with Toronto-based animation studio Blame Your Brother, the team created a short film made specifically for kids in the hospital, assuring them that Santa will always find them.
The heartwarming film shows Santa appearing in the home of a little girl named Sarah each Christmas, until one year she’s not there. He finds her in the hospital, delivering gifts for all the kids and leaving her a little surprise as well.
The film will live on PBTF’s social-media channels and website.
