There is no rival for the Type R’s speed and dominance on the track. In the social media campaign “The Chase,” we partnered with the social wizard and director Ari Fararooy to create a mechanical predator that could challenge Honda’s fastest model. The creature runs, flies and jets after its prey in a mesmerizing chase. On Instagram, we released a three-video series, and in each of them, the steel-eating creature morphs into a faster version of itself. Each video was crafted to loop back to the beginning, making for a visual that will stop scrollers in their tracks. On YouTube, the long-form told full story of how the Type R gave a creature from another planet a taste of this world's dust.
