Honda tasked us with revamping their Environmental Vehicles page to firmly establish them as an innovative leader in electrification. With that in mind, we got to work on the makeover.
MAKING ELECTRIFIED VEHICLES MAINSTREAM
Early adopters driven by environmental concerns have already embraced electrified vehicles, and current car buyers don’t connect with environment-focused messaging. So, we researched what would tempt them to bite.
We found that what people really care about is spending less money on gas and driving a good-looking car. What they don’t want is an inconvenient refueling or recharging routine. Based on these insights, we focused on the style and convenience of the Honda lineup of electrified vehicles.
A PAGE APART
Since the page focuses more on education than on selling cars, we wanted it to stand out from the rest of the site. To that end, we introduced a bright new illustrative style that brings the content to life.

Not sure which electrified vehicle is right for you? You’re not alone. We created a quick quiz to pair people with a Honda that fits into their lives seamlessly. This creates a sense of connection to the brand and pays off the point that driving an electrified vehicle is for everyone.
In the end, this project took a category of vehicles from seemingly niche to appealingly mainstream.
It gave Honda a place to showcase its extraordinary strides in innovation and gave our Honda website team an opportunity to show what we can do with a concept, some coding and a whole lot of collaboration.
