RPA Appoints New Honda Group Creative Director, Promotes Six Creatives
Santa Monica, Calif., - August 20, 2010 - RPA, one of the largest independent advertising agencies on the West Coast, welcomes Jason Sperling as Group Creative Director for the Honda account. In addition, several Associates have been promoted to support the ongoing progression of the creative department: Joe Baratelli and Patrick Mendelson to Group Creative Director; Chuck Blackwell, Nathan Crow and Adam Lowrey to Creative Director; and Laura Hauseman to Associate Creative Director.
Sperling, formerly Creative Director at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, oversaw the iPad, iPhone and Mac groups. He led the Mac vs. PC campaign internationally. Sperling's work has earned Campaign of the Decade by Adweek (2009), Cannes Lions and the Cannes Gold Cyber Lion (2008), the Grand Effie (2007) and several One Show Gold Pencils (2007). Previously, he worked at Colby and Partners, Santa Monica.

Sperling and Baratelli will report to Smith, and will be responsible for leading creative in all disciplines for the Honda account.
