At RPA,* diversity and inclusion are our top priorities. We are privileged as an equal opportunity employer to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We take pride in saying you can't define an "RPA associate" with just one meaning. We are an eclectic group of minds and personalities that join together to produce innovative work.
RPA associates come from all over the world; more important, we all took different paths to get here. Our agency has some advertising graduates, but also includes philosophy scholars, European historians, human biologists and everything else under the sun.
We don't just embrace diversity within the walls of our offices. Our headquarters, based in Santa Monica, provides a hub for SoCal beach life, with an assorted mix of locals, historic sites, art, entertainment and technology. We couldn't ask for a better setting to inspire creative thinking.
Our Diversity and Inclusion Task Force reaches out across our community and actively sponsors multicultural college internship programs (e.g., the MAT program through thinkLA). By partnering with a variety of diverse vendors, we provide in-house educational programs to show our industry to students and recognize promising scholars by awarding annual Art Center scholarships.
The agency also works closely with the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Mosaic Center, the (AAAA) American Association of Advertising Agencies, ADCOLOR and thinkLA in supporting their diversity initiatives by participating in career fairs, conferences, and student competitions.
When all is said, RPA thrives creatively because our people have diverse personalities, life experiences, hometowns and hobbies. The more enlightened our associates are, the more inspired our work will be. What more can we ask for?
